$480,000.00 Settlement for Client with an Unusual Injury Shortly before Trial

Jill filed suit for a client who had a history of neck problems who was injured in a crash and developed a tremor in his hand a few days later. Due to the unusual nature of the injury, many doctors were visited and varying diagnoses were made before one doctor finally gave an explanation for the tremor and related it to the car crash.  The opposing attorney hired a doctor who gave the opinion that the tremors were not related to the crash.  Three doctors testified, and after all of the expert depositions were taken and the case was ready to be presented to a jury in a few weeks, the case was resolved for an excellent amount.
